Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU) has announced a reorganization plan that will result in the exit of approximately 1,800 employees and the closure of its Boise and Edmonton sites.

The move aims to reallocate resources towards the company's key growth areas and will incur charges of $250 million to $260 million, predominantly in severance and share-based compensation.

Looking ahead, Intuit aims to enhance its hiring in strategic locations, focusing on roles that are technical and customer-oriented to support its long-term growth objectives.
