Indiana Resources (ASX:IDA) has announced The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, part of the World Bank, has completed its arbitration proceedings against the United Republic of Tanzania.

The exploration company said the Centre ordered the country to pay them compensation of over $US109.5M for the unlawful expropriation and loss of the Ntaka Hill Nickel Project.

Indiana Resources, a 62.4% shareholder in the combined holdings of the Claimants will now begin the enforcement process for the Award.

The Tribunal also ordered Tanzania to pay the Claimants' legal costs and expenses of $US3,859,161.
