Indiana Resources commenced reverse circulation and aircore drilling at its Minos prospect, part of the Central Gawler Craton Exploration Project in South Australia.
The combined drilling program aims to extend and confirm known gold and rare earth elements target zones.
The gold-focused reverse circulation drilling program at Minos plans five holes totalling 630m to extend the current 600m strike length of high-grade gold mineralisation.
The aircore drilling initiative will focus on eight holes totalling 590m to enhance the existing REE mineralisation and collect additional samples for metallurgical testing.
An additional reverse circulation drilling effort comprising three holes for 600m at Hopeful Hill will proceed under a co-funded grant from the South Australian Government.
The program is set for completion within eight to ten days, with assay results anticipated in August.
