Horizon Gold unveiled results from a scoping study on the Gum Creek Gold Project in Western Australia.

The study highlighted the potential for profitable production from near-surface, open-pittable gold resources, projecting an initial 10-year mine life with an estimated yield of 888,000 ounces of gold from 24.46Mt at 1.13 g/t Au.

Plans include constructing a new 2.4 million tonne per annum gravity/CIL processing plant at the Gidgee mill site, leveraging existing infrastructure.

Initial capital costs are estimated at $238.5 million, with additional drilling intended to extend the project's life.
