Helix Resources completed downhole electromagnetic geophysics on two scout drill holes at their Canbelego Copper Project in central New South Wales.

Despite intercepting a copper-mineralised structure, the survey did not reveal massive sulphides.

In a joint venture with Aeris Resources (ASX:AIS), the company is now focusing on understanding the structural zone, which may contain deeper copper sulphide lodes.

Helix plans to analyse petrophysical, geological, and assay data to assess mineralisation potential.

Helix will shift attention to the Bijoux copper anomaly, initiating an infill auger program to pinpoint zones with strong copper mineralisation for future drill testing.
