Heavy Minerals signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Abrasive Blasting Service & Supplies to supply a minimum of 15,000 tonnes annually of garnet from its Port Gregory Project over three years.

The agreement accounts for about 10% of Heavy Minerals' expected annual garnet production, targeted at the Australian and New Zealand sandblasting and water jet-cutting markets.

The company is moving toward finalising binding terms, including pricing and logistics while exploring additional global distribution partners.
