    Doctor Care Anywhere names new CEO

    London-based telehealth provider Doctor Care Anywhere Group (ASX:DOC), has appointed Laura O'Riordan as its CEO, effective from Jan. 6, 2025.

    O’Riordan will also join the company's board on this date.

    Coming from her recent role as President at eMed Healthcare UK and formerly at Babylon, O'Riordan brings extensive leadership and digital healthcare experience.

    Her previous positions in The Good Care Group, Care UK, and Harmoni establish her as a key figure in the healthcare industry.

    "Following a targeted search process which attracted a very high calibre of candidates, we are delighted to be welcoming Laura O'Riordan to lead our business at this stage of DCA's evolution," said John Stier, Chair, Doctor Care Anywhere Group. 

    "I am excited to join Doctor Care Anywhere at this time. I look forward to working with colleagues and business partners to successfully grow the Company’s reach and reputation for high-quality medical care," said O'Riordan.

    Additionally, Romana Abdin and Aleksandra Spencer, non-executive board members, have announced their upcoming retirements.

    The company is actively seeking replacements to maintain a balanced board.

    At the time of reporting, Doctor Care Anywhere's share price was $0.065.
