Great Western Exploration is preparing to drill high-potential copper targets at its Fairbairn Copper Project in Western Australia, starting late April to early May.

The targets resemble DeGrussa-style copper-gold deposits, suggesting significant discovery potential. Initial drilling will reach 250m to 350m depths, with follow-up drills based on results.

Great Western also refined geological models for Oval and Oval South targets, showing potential for Winu-style copper-gold mineralisation.

Preliminary results from Firebird Gold Project's phase 2 drilling indicate a mineralised gold system, prompting focus redirection to the Fairbairn and Oval projects.
