Mipac Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of GR Engineering, agreed to acquire Paradigm Engineers, a Western Australia-based provider of control systems and electrical engineering services.

The $9 million transaction, payable in cash and GR Engineering scrip, enhances Mipac's capabilities in control system and electrical design, expanding its footprint in Western Australia.

Paradigm's expertise in commodities, including iron ore, gold, and battery minerals, is expected to contribute to a proforma revenue of approximately $50 million for the combined Mipac and Paradigm business.

The acquisition is anticipated to be immediately earnings per share accretive and is scheduled for completion around Feb. 29.
