Google has revised its advertising policy to allow ads for cryptocurrency trusts starting from January 29, 2024, aligning with expected US Bitcoin ETF approvals.

The policy update permits ads targeting the US market from entities offering Cryptocurrency Coin Trusts, potentially including ETFs.

Advertisers must be certified by Google and comply with local laws and regulations, including possessing necessary licensing and ensuring product and ad alignment with legal requirements.

Google's current policy permits certain crypto-related ads but excludes ads for crypto betting, ICOs, decentralised finance, and trading signal services.
