Google eases advertising rules for cryptocurrency products

Google has implemented an update to its advertising policy, which it announced in December, allowing certain cryptocurrency financial products to utilise sponsored links on its platforms.

This includes the recently approved Bitcoin ETFs.

Following this update, prominent Bitcoin ETF issuers such as Vaneck and Blackrock have already made the move to post adverts on Google.

The changes represent a shift in Google’s policy regarding crypto-related content which, in turn, reveals a broader acceptance and understanding of cryptocurrencies at a corporate level.
