Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) has highlighted a large-scale lithium bearing pegmatite system extending to the northeast, following the latest rounds of assay results received from its 100% owned Manna lithium project.
Global Lithium says the spodumene was identified by its exploration team late last year but due to the priority placed on the Manna Resource upgrade, the area wasn't drilled until late in the 2022 exploration program.
It highlighted intercepts from the program including: 19m @ 1.20% Li2O from 263m, 17m @ 1.76% Li2O from 341m, and 15m @ 1.72% Li2O from 277m.
Global Lithium says the 800m long zone contains large high-grade intercepts of spodumene bearing pegmatites that extend along strike and down dip in all directions.
