Starknet, Ethereum's (CRYPTO:ETH) layer-2 blockchain, is poised to integrate AI agents capable of autonomously executing on-chain activities, such as optimising yield and portfolio reallocation.

Spearheaded by Giza, a Web3 and AI firm, these AI agents are expected to be deployed on Starknet by the end of June, with plans for expansion to other chains in the future.

These agents, built with the Starknet programming language Cairo, will leverage Zero-Knowledge Scalable Transparent Argument of Knowledge and zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-proofs) to ensure privacy and security.

While this innovation holds promise for revolutionising Web3 applications, it also raises concerns, with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin urging caution in integrating AI into blockchains to maintain the integrity of smart contract enforcement.
