The German government has swiftly sold 9,736 BTC (CRYPTO:BTC) over nearly 20 hours, totaling $564.3 million at current prices.

With its BTC wallet currently holding 13,110 BTC valued at $767 million, these transactions mark a significant reduction in the government's cryptocurrency holdings.

Transfers were made to Coinbase, Bitstamp, Kraken, Flow Traders, Cumberland, and an unidentified address, highlighting the involvement of major exchanges and market players.

At this rate, if sales continue, the German government's BTC reserves could be exhausted by tomorrow, reflecting substantial activity in the global cryptocurrency market and prompting close scrutiny from investors worldwide.
