Geopacific Resources reported progress in exploration at its Woodlark Gold Project in Papua New Guinea, indicating potential for resource expansion.

Identified areas include known mineralisation and priority drilling zones, aiming to enhance the existing 1.56 million ounces of gold resources.

The Great Northern and Wayai Creek prospects show promise for new resources, while substantial mineralised zones at Little MacKenzie require further drilling to estimate resources.

The findings support de-risking efforts and an updated resource estimate, with an anticipated Woodlark feasibility study update by mid-2024.
