GenusPlus Group, a key player in essential power and communications infrastructure, has announced a maintenance and upgrade contract with Western Power, the state-owned corporation managing the South West Interconnecting System.

The five-year agreement, estimated to generate approximately $50 million in its first year, extends GenusPlus' long-standing relationship with Western Power.

The contract involves distribution and transmission overhead maintenance services, including pole replacements, reconductoring, and various other maintenance tasks.

Operations will span across Western Australia's SWIS, servicing an expansive area from Kalbarri in the north to Kalgoorlie in the east and Albany in the south, ensuring reliable electricity supply to over 2.3 million customers.
