Genesis Digital Assets, supported by Sam Bankman-Fried’s Alameda Research, is reportedly considering an initial public offering (IPO) in the US amid the crypto sector's resurgence.

The mining firm is consulting advisers for a potential listing and plans to kick off a pre-IPO funding round soon.

Genesis has expanded significantly with new facilities in Argentina and Texas this year, bolstering its position with over 500 megawatts of power capacity and operations across multiple continents.

Although the company has not officially commented, discussions are ongoing and fundraising details may evolve.

Originating from one of the earliest crypto miners, Genesis Digital Assets secured over $1 billion in funding from Alameda Research in multiple tranches.
