A recent study by Cybermetals highlights Gen Z's significant trust in digital assets during times of economic uncertainty or geopolitical tensions, with 94% of respondents from the US and UK favoring digital assets over physical ones.

Despite this trend, 61% of Gen Z still trust gold as a long-term investment, though 39% are less concerned with the tangibility of precious metals compared to older generations.

The study also reveals a generational shift, as older investors like baby boomers and Gen X show a stronger preference for physical assets, while younger investors are more inclined towards digital currencies and alternative investments.

Additionally, the survey indicates that gold remains a popular choice among investors, with 89% viewing it as a long-term investment and nearly half reporting improved portfolio performance after investing in gold.
