Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) has discovered a new sulphide zone at the Callisto palladium-nickel discovery at its Norseman project in Western Australia.

Galileo Mining's Managing Director Brad Underwood says: "To intercept 72 metres of sulphides from our northernmost drill line targeting the centre of the host intrusion is an extraordinary result and a highly encouraging sign for the potential discovery of more mineralisation along strike to the north."

The company will follow up on this discovery with more drilling, and with $20M in cash is in a secure position during the current market volatility.

Galileo Mining is focused on exploring and developing palladium, nickel, copper, and cobalt resources in the region.
