Frontier Energy (ASX:FHE) has received confirmation of Western Australian Government support for its landmark water supply agreement with Water Corporation for its proposed solar green hydrogen project.
The company says the government also recognises the importance of the project and the agreement, and expects it to create 300 jobs during construction, and 50 during production in the Waroona region of southwest WA.
Hydrogen Industry Minister Roger Cook says: "The Bristol Springs projects is a fantastic example of a WA firm leading the way to becoming one of the lowest cost producers of Australian-made renewable hydrogen."
Frontier Energy says it's proud to be part of the historic agreement and is looking forward to a strong working relationship with Water Corporation.
The company's share price is up almost 4% at 1:30pm AEST.
