Former Google executive joins Aptos Labs to drive Web3 adoption

David Lawee, former vice president of corporate development at Google and founder of Alphabet's Capital G fund, has joined Aptos Labs as a global adviser.
Aptos Labs, the team behind the layer-1 blockchain platform Aptos (CRPTO:APT), aims to enable billions of people to access decentralised assets.
Lawee, leveraging his Web2 consumer experience, will play a key role in promoting blockchain technology to mainstream audiences.
Alongside Lawee, Pamela Drucker Mann from Condè Nast Global and Dan Boneh from Stanford University will also join Aptos' advisory board, focusing on ecosystem culture and cybersecurity research respectively.
Lawee's move to Aptos follows his extensive involvement in the cryptocurrency industry during his tenure at Alphabet's CapitalG, indicating a strategic shift towards advancing Web3 adoption.
