Former Binance CEO CZ owns 64% of BNB circulating supply

Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) reportedly owns 64% of Binance Coin's (CRYPTO:BNB) circulating supply, amounting to approximately 94 million BNB tokens.

A forensic analysis by Gray Wolf Analytics and Forbes revealed that 80 million BNB tokens were initially allocated to the Binance founding team, with Binance still controlling 46 million of these tokens.

Combined, Binance and CZ hold 71% of the 147 million BNB in circulation.

Zhao's 90% equity stake in Binance, along with his substantial crypto holdings, has positioned him as the world's 24th richest person, with an estimated net worth of $61 billion.

Despite legal challenges and a significant settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice, CZ's influence over BNB remains substantial.
