    Fluence (ASX:FLC) wins US$3.6M contract for water treatment system at Rabigh Power Plant

    Fluence Corporation, a provider of water treatment solutions, has been awarded a US$3.6 million ($5.4 million) contract to supply a containerised ultra-pure water treatment and demineralisation system for the Saudi Electric Company's Rabigh Power Plant in Saudi Arabia.

    The agreement marks Fluence's third collaboration in the past year with partner El Sewedy Electric PSP.

    Scheduled to begin work immediately, Fluence anticipates system start-up by May 2025.

    El Sewedy Electric will undertake the construction of the gas-fired combined cycle power plant at Rabigh in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

    The first phase includes a power plant with a net capacity of 1,200 MW plus 15%.
