Fin Resources (ASX:FIN) has identified a number of clay hosted lithium targets at the Gaspe Lithium Project on the Gaspe Peninsula in southeast Quebec, Canada.

The company said an in-depth review of the historical results has identified that several of the stream sediment samples returned elevated tantalum, cerium, and tungsten.

It also said high-resolution satellite imagery analysis completed over Gaspe by Dr Neil Pendock has identified a significant number of possible LCT (lithium-caesium-tantalum) pegmatite outcrops which require priority field confirmation and follow-up work.

Fin Resources' share price hit $0.017 at 10am AEST.
