Fanera, a blockchain-enabled sports tech startup, has forged a partnership with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment and will relocate its headquarters to Riyadh.
This strategic move aims to transform football fan engagement in Saudi Arabia, leveraging blockchain and Web 3.0 technologies through its fan engagement app.
The app will empower users to create content, earn rewards, and trade content using non-fungible tokens (NFTs), fostering a dynamic community of football enthusiasts.
Fanera's CEO, Mo Kilany, emphasised that the relocation aligns with their global mission to innovate fan experiences and set new industry standards.
The move also positions Fanera to capitalise on Saudi Arabia's growing football market, especially ahead of the World Cup in 2034, hosted by the Kingdom.
