Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) has made several announcements today, beginning with its quarterly report ending December 31, 2022, highlighting higher gold production of 166,404 ounces, and higher copper production of 15,483 tonnes, compared to the quarter before.
Evolution Mining also announced diamond drilling at the West Island prospect continues to intersect strong gold intersections within a basement dolerite host unit, highlighting 5.5m @ 4.16g/tAu from 349.5m.
It also announced that new drillholes as part of the ongoing Ernest Henry exploration program have intersected significant gold and copper mineralisation, confirming potential for mining beyond the current Pre-Feasibility Study.
Evolution Mining also announced the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer, Barrie Van Der Merwe, who has more than 20 years experience in the resources sector in Australia, South Africa, and Botswana.
Its share price close up 5% today.
