Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) impacted by bad weather at Ernest Henry

Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) has suspended operation activities at the Ernest Henry operation and experienced a regional weather event on March 8.

Evolution Mining says after the weather event had ceased, the team was able to assess the impact of the event and commence a recovery plan, and it's expected that mining activities will restart in approximately six weeks. 

Evolution Mining describes itself as a leading, globally relevant gold miner operating five wholly-owned mines and has a Financial Year 2023 gold production guidance of 720,000 ounces with an All-in Sustaining Cost of $1,240 per ounce.

Shares of Evolution Mining were up 1% at 11:30am AEST.
