Everest Metals Corp (ASX:EMC) begins drilling at North Rover with Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) Exploration

Everest Metals Corporation (ASX:EMC) has announced Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) Exploration plans to start drilling at the North Rover Earn-in Project where around seven holes will be dug, each up to 200m deep.

The anticipated drilling campaign involves a 1,400m Reverse Circulation (RC) exploration of potential lithium mineralisation underneath weathered pegmatite outcrops and will take approximately ten days to conclude.

Everest Metals Corporation holds full ownership of the Rover Project, composed of three exploration licenses, and covering approximately 460 square kilometres.

A joint venture (JV) agreement between the companies was signed in March 2022, granting Rio an initial six-month option to explore North Rover and after the exploration program ends, Rio will begin to acquire an 80% JV interest.
