The EU–U.S. Joint Financial Regulatory Forum convened recently, facilitating a comprehensive discussion on digital finance and crypto assets.

Hosted by the European Commission and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the forum focused on regulatory alignment and the implementation of key legislations like the Digital Operational Resilience Act and Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation within the EU.

Participants highlighted the necessity of international collaboration on issues concerning crypto assets, particularly stablecoins, underscoring their commitment to ensuring financial stability and market integrity through coordinated efforts on the global payments agenda.
