Estia Health (ASX:EHE) has received a confidential non-binding proposal from Bain Capital to acquire all shares in the company at $3 per share.
Estiah Health says it's not aware of the identity of the party or parties who have acquired shares over the preceding two days.
The company's board is considering the proposal but there is no certainty that it will result in a binding offer or any transaction.
Estia Health's share price is $2.34.
