EROAD, a global provider of digital solutions for the transportation sector, has received an unsolicited, non-binding indicative proposal from Brillian APAC (Volaris) to acquire 100% of its shares at $1.30 per share in cash.

EROAD said Volaris is part of the Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software.

It also said its board is considering the proposal with the help of financial advisor Goldman Sachs and legal advisor Chapman Tripp, and no action is currently required from shareholders.

Shares of EROAD are up 62% in afternoon trading.
