Endeavour Group logged continued sales growth in retail and hotels during the first quarter of FY24 ended Sept. 30.

Retail segment sales reached $2.5 billion, reflecting a 1.9% increase compared to the previous year.

The company noted a shift in consumer preferences within the retail sector, with increased demand for mainstream beer, rosé, and pre-mixed drinks.

The combined growth of BWS and Dan Murphy's was 2.6% in the quarter.

Endeavour's hotels segment recorded a 2.8% year-over-year growth in sales revenue to $553 million, driven by food and bars sales, compensating for a slight decline in gaming revenue.
