Elixir Energy reported a substantial increase in prospective resources at the Grandis Gas Project in Queensland, Australia, due to coal desorption analysis from the Daydream-2 appraisal well.

The analysis revealed a new adsorbed gas component, leading to a revised estimated recoverable gas of 3.6 trillion cubic feet (2U) in ATP 2044.

The company plans to convert the prospective resources into contingent resources in the coming months, with a stimulation and testing program scheduled for mid-April.
