Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) announced that Anat Ashkenazi will resign from her role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to pursue another career opportunity outside of the pharmaceutical industry.

Gordon Brooks, currently Group Vice President, Controller, and Corporate Strategy, will assume the role of interim CFO effective July 15, 2024.

Brooks, age 55, has been with the company for 29 years, holding various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer.

This leadership change marks a significant shift for Eli Lilly as it navigates new financial management under Brooks’ interim stewardship.
