    Egypt's Connect Money raises $8 million in seed funding

    Connect Money, an Egyptian fintech startup specialising in banking-as-a-service and embedded finance solutions, has secured $8 million in seed funding.

    Led by Disruptech Ventures and Algebra Ventures, the funding round aims to support the launch of five new business verticals across North African markets.

    Connect Money offers a white-label card issuing platform that facilitates digital payments, instant financing, and access to a vast network of marketplace partners.

    Co-founded by Ayman Essawy, the startup aims to simplify financial services for businesses through its comprehensive SaaS offerings, including card issuance, KYC compliance, and mobile banking apps.

    The investment underscores Connect Money's potential to drive financial inclusion and digital transformation in the MENA region, positioning Egypt as a pivotal hub for embedded finance services.
