Eric Wang has resigned as managing director and CEO of Ecofibre with immediate effect.

Wang, who joined the company in 2016, played a key role in navigating significant business cycles, guiding revenues to peak at $50 million pre-COVID, and focusing on advanced manufacturing capabilities.

The company's chairperson, Vanessa Wallace, will serve as interim CEO while it thoroughly searches for a new managing director and CEO.

Ecofibre owns a portfolio of manufacturing businesses in the U.S. and Australia, focusing on sustainable polymers, natural health care, plant-based foods, and genetics.
