Australia's DXN signed a with the Government of Timor-Leste to provide a cable landing station for the Timor-Leste South Submarine Cable project, valued at approximately US$1.4 million (A$2.1 million).

The project aims to establish a submarine cable link between Díli, Timor-Leste, and the North-West Cable System spanning Darwin and Port Hedland.

The TLSSC project relies on the Díli cable landing station to house the necessary cable cable termination and operation infrastructure.

DXN will prefabricate the cable landing station in Australia and transport it to Díli for installation and commissioning, with delivery expected by April 2024.
