Australian data centre company DXN (ASX:DXN) has secured a contract with Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) to supply two modular data centres, worth approximately $1.8M.

DXN said the data centres will be used at the Pilgangoora Operations in Western Australia.

It also said prefabrication will start in DXN's Perth factory and the modular data centres are expected to be delivered by February 2024.

DXN added the contract is a showcase for the growth of edge data centres in the mining market segment and represents the 41st and 42nd modular data centre the company has built since the fiscal year 2020.
