Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) plans to close its 27 stores in Denmark, optimise its corporate store network, and streamline core operations to improve efficiency and support future growth.

The company said the closures of about 65-70 stores overall globally represent about 2% of its global footprint of 3827 stores.

It also said the combined savings will improve FY24 EBIT by approximately $25-30M, with these savings expected to increase over the next two years as the initiatives are completed.

Domino's reopened the Danish market in 2019 from receivership but said the legacy of damage was too great to overcome.
