Genex Power (ASX:GNX) reaches key milestone in Bouldercombe battery project

Genex Power (ASX:GNX) has announced the arrival of all 40 Tesla Megapack units at the Bouldercombe Battery Project site near Rockhampton, Queensland.

Genex Power says this is a key milestone in the construction of the 50MW/100MWh battery energy storage system, making it one of the first large scale battery systems in Queensland.

The Tesla Megapack units will be connected to step up transformers, Powerlink Queensland, and pre-commissioned, and the project is scheduled to be energised in H2 CY2023.

Genex Power says it has a portfolio of over $1B of renewable energy generation and storage projects across Australia.
