CSR's net profit after tax before significant items increased 7% to $240 million for the full fiscal year ended March 31.

Statutory net profit rose to $231 million. Group EBIT before significant items increased 1% to $332 million, driven by the Building Products sector, which achieved an 8% rise in EBIT to $294 million.

The Property segment saw an EBIT increase to $91 million, while the Aluminium segment faced challenges, recording an EBIT loss of $29 million due to higher energy costs.

CSR has maintained an interim dividend of 15 cents per share.

Managing Director and CEO Julie Coates highlighted record earnings in Building Products driven by pricing discipline and operational efficiency.
