Justin Sun has launched "NFT Pump," a new Tron-based (CRYPTO:TRX) platform aimed at facilitating transparent NFT collection launches in partnership with APENFT.

The platform seeks to expand the offerings of the viral token launchpad and follows Sun's commitments to enhance Tron’s ecosystem.

In a recent announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Sun described NFT Pump as the first fair launch platform for NFT collections on the Tron network.

He stated, “For the first time in the world, NFT + MemePump has been realized on Tron.”

Sun emphasizes the platform's transparency and fun, claiming that all trading fees will be allocated to buying back and burning NFTs.

He expressed the need for a high-quality native NFT project, saying, “To be honest, if such a project comes to life, I would change my PFP to one from that project.”

The launch reflects Sun's commitment to bolster Tron's influence in the digital collectible space.

It also positions SunPump, a Tron-based token generator, to regain attention following recent stagnation.

Additionally, a special SUN airdrop is planned exclusively for TRX holders.

The NFT Pump platform will feature digital collectibles representing well-known public figures, including Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Changpeng Zhao, and Justin Sun, alongside animated characters and GIFs.

However, concerns linger regarding operational challenges and transparency, compounded by past issues associated with Tron and the NFT market, where 96% of NFTs are reportedly considered dead.

The success of NFT Pump remains uncertain, given these ongoing challenges.

At the time of reporting, the TRON price was $0.1537.
