Critical Resources (ASX:CRR) has discovered a 74.4m interceptor of continuous spodumene mineralisation at its Mavis Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada.

The lithium company said it is the widest interval recorded to date, underlining the project's significant upside potential.

It also said the discovered mineralisation was not included in the company's 8.0Mt resource and is expected to substantially increase the total resource tonnage.

Critical Resources revealed it is exploring further areas over the coming months and expects to receive lab results in 6 to 8 weeks.
