Critical Resources reported results from its feasibility-level metallurgical test work on ore sourced from the Mavis Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada.

The test work involved 1,650kg of drill core from various depths conducted by the Saskatchewan Research Council.

The test work demonstrated a 30% increase in lithium feed grade, underscoring the ore’s suitability for pre-concentration by ore sorting.

The bulk XRT ore sorting process effectively removed 97% of waste rock and demonstrated a significant reduction of iron minerals, indicating a streamlined path for further beneficiation processes.

The results are expected to optimise the project’s dense medium separation and flotation circuits.
