Critical Minerals (ASX:CMG) has announced a new Mineral Resources Estimate for the flagship Lindfield Vanadium Project, 30km from Julia Creek in north west Queensland.

Managing Director Scott Drelincourt said a 73% tonnage increase to 363mt, along with a 10% grade increase of V2O5 (vanadium oxide) in the upgraded MRE delivered by John T. Boyd Geological Consultants is a very pleasing increase to both grade and tonnage.

"(The project) now also includes significant Aluminium Oxide content that has potential as feedstock for high value HPA (high-purity alumina). Further testing on the AI2O3 continues with Brisbane-based Lava Blue labs and we look forward to those results.

The real kicker in this upgrade for me as a geologist, is the Indicated 104mt @ 0.48% V2O5 in the weathered zone  - that really boosts our economic confidence to progress this project."
