    Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (ASX:C6C) appoints CEO

    Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (ASX:C6C) has announced the appointment of Patrick Merrin as its President and CEO, effective April 24 this year.

    Copper Mountain says Mr Merrin has extensive experience in the mining industry and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

    He will be succeeding Gil Clausen, who will be retiring and will be retained on an advisory basis until May 1, 2024.

    The Copper Mountain Mine produces approximately 100 million pounds of copper equivalent on average per year and is located in southern British Columbia near the town of Princeton.
