    Conico (ASX:CNJ) finds 6th best cobalt intercept in 2022

    Conico (ASX:CNJ) has provided an update on exploration activities at the Mt Thirsty Joint Venture with Greenstone Resources in Western Australia, highlighting outstanding prospectivity and potential for future scandium resource.

    Conico says assays have now been received for an additional 22 drill holes targeting Ni-Co-Sc-PGE and LCT mineralisation, with one hole returning the best cobalt intercept in Australia for 2022 of 0.113% cobalt at 78m from 3m. 

    Its Executive Director Guy Le Page says these results continue to highlight the prospectivity of the Mt Thirsty project, and importantly the suite of target commodities, all of which play a critical role in the continued decarbonisation of our economy. 

    Following the announcement, shares of Conico (ASX:CNJ) were up 111%. .
