Godolphin Resources (ASX:GRL) today announced high-grade gold results from its Lewis Ponds Project in New South Wales.
The recent drilling program identified promising mineralised zones outside of the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), pointing towards further growth potential for the project.
One standout drill hole recorded significant mineralisation with an intersection of 51.75m at 1.81g/t gold equivalent from 276.05m, including a high-grade core of 7.85m at 5.37g/t gold equivalent.
A new mineralisation zone was also identified with 13.45m at 0.56g/t gold equivalent from 162m.
"Lewis Ponds is an exceptional asset, and our confidence in the Project has continued to strengthen with every drill hole reported from this program," said Godolphin Resources Managing Director Jeneta Owens.
The recent findings offer potential expansion opportunities, highlighting both large undrilled areas and undrilled geophysical features akin to the Lewis Ponds mineralisation.
Godolphin Resources plans further metallurgical testing to maximise the recovery of precious metals from the project.
The results will guide the production of concentrates and deliver insights into the future development pathways.
