ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (NASDAQ:IMOS), a leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services, today released its unaudited consolidated revenue figures for June 2024 and the second quarter ending June 30, 2024.

For the second quarter of 2024, ChipMOS reported revenues of NT$5,809.6 million or $179 million.

This marks a 7.2% increase compared to the first quarter of 2024 and a 6.7% increase from the same period in 2023.

The company attributes this growth primarily to heightened demand for DDIC and sustained high utilization levels of its high-end test platforms.

Meanwhile, the revenue for June 2024 came in at NT$1,917.7 million or $59.1 million, indicating a decrease of 5.3% from May 2024.

Despite this monthly downturn, the figures still represent a year-over-year increase of 7.2% compared to June 2023.
