As of June 7, 2024, the Central Bank of Ireland has greenlit 15 Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), including prominent names such as, Coinbase, Gemini, and Ripple.

Among these,, a leading global crypto trading platform, notably received approval to operate in Ireland, as announced on June 11.

This authorization allows to extend its services in Ireland, enabling operations such as crypto-to-fiat transactions and the provision of fiat wallets.

Eric Anziani,'s president and chief operating officer, commented on the approval, interpreting it as a reflection of the company's dedication to adhering to regulatory compliance and fostering responsible innovation within the financial sector.
